You can beat stress, and you can even prevent stress before it starts. This workshop utilizes discussion and problem solving, with proven techniques for stress-relief, and will include:

Want to learn how to hypnotise yourself and your friends & family and experience the pleasure of this natural state of mind? This workshop covers theory and practical, and will be a fun day exploring a basic approach to the subject of hypnosis. Please note: This workshop will teach self-hypnosis & basic induction skills to use with other people—it does not give you a qualification to work as a Hypnotherapist and is for non-professional, non-clinical use only. This workshop includes:

Brief history of hypnosis.
The Conscious mind versus the Subconscious mind.
What is hypnosis & how does it work?

The power of auto-suggestion—positive affirmations.
Hypnosis induction techniques & scripts.

Advanced Hypnotic Inductions.  Want to know more about hypnosis and learn more about hypnotising friends / family / colleagues with more advanced inductions? This workshop covers theory and practical, and will be a fun day exploring the use of language patterns, techniques for inducing trance, and simple suggestion. Please note: This workshop will teach induction skills to use with other people—it does not give you a qualification to work as a Hypnotherapist and is for non-professional, non-clinical use only. This workshop includes:

The Conscious mind versus the Subconscious mind.
Hypnotic Language Patterns.
Indirect (Ericksonian) and Direct Inductions.
Rapid Inductions.
Simple suggestions for generative change.

Shorter sessions suitable for evenings are available with duration of between 1 and 2 hours, as informative taster sessions on the fascinating topic of hypnosis and the mind.

3,2,1, Sleep—the truth about hypnosis

A lecture on hypnosis—what it is, how it works, why it works, with Q & A. Followed by a demonstration with audience participation of some simple, safe, and non-embarrassing hypnosis routines to demonstrate the power of the mind which may include: glued to the chair, hypnotic amnesia, arm levitation. Please note: The demonstration aspect of this talk complies with the 1952 Hypnotism Act, as it is performed as part of a legitimate talk for research & educational purposes not entertainment. Duration: 1½ hours.

Motivation & Empowerment  This a shorter version of the ‘Empower Yourself’ workshop, focusing mainly on psychological techniques that can be used for motivation, confidence building, and accessing resourceful mental states. It includes basic theory, and jumps right into the practical skills, giving you strategies that work effectively, which you can continue to use.  Duration: 1½ - 2 hours

The art of self-hypnosis  This session gives a brief insight into the mechanics behind hypnosis, and then teaches simple induction routines for deep relaxation & stress relief, touching upon the use of positive suggestions for change.  Duration 1½ - 2 hours.
